Taiwan Travelogue ~Beer Edition~
Share
Hello, this is Y, the cat-loving staff member at SETOUCHI BEER.
Following the delicious food edition, this time it's the beer edition.
When it comes to Taiwanese beer, the one often seen in Japan is "Taiwan Beer."
Among them, one particular beer is said to be "a must-buy if you find it":
ONLY 18 DAYS BEER (18天台灣生啤酒).
Its biggest feature, as the name suggests, is that its shelf life is only 18 days from production.
It's a "draft beer" that isn't pasteurized by heat,
and is known as a Taiwan-exclusive beer that prioritizes freshness.
The bitterness is quite mild, with a strong refreshing sensation as it goes down and a light aftertaste.
Because its flavor isn't too assertive,
it's enjoyed for its ability to reset the palate without interfering with the aroma or richness of food.
At "Shun Shun Goose Meat King Yilan Cuisine" in Yilan, I had the CLASSIC.
It also pairs well with fried foods and richly flavored dishes.
I also visited "啜飲室," the taproom directly managed by TAIHU BREWING (臺虎精釀), a popular Taiwanese brewery.
You can enjoy a wide variety of TAIHU BREWING's craft beers,
with a lineup ranging from classics to unique brews.
was all enjoyable and a memorable experience.
