Introducing "GreenEX" as an initiative to reduce environmental impact.

From April 2026, we began utilizing "GreenEX," a service provided by Central Japan Railway Company (hereinafter, JR Central), West Japan Railway Company (hereinafter, JR West), and Kyushu Railway Company (hereinafter, JR Kyushu) that effectively eliminates CO₂ emissions. "GreenEX" is a service where the three companies, JR Central, JR West, and JR Kyushu, use electricity derived from virtually renewable energy procured from power companies and others to effectively eliminate CO₂ emissions generated from Shinkansen use.
Aiming to be a "brewery that revitalizes local communities and is environmentally friendly," we are advancing initiatives to achieve net-zero. By utilizing "GreenEX," we aim to reduce CO₂ emissions associated with employee business trips and other activities.
