Connecting Regions and Brewing Culture: Supporting the Development of Next-Generation Brewers

Setouchi Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") aims to go beyond the mere framework of a craft beer manufacturer to create a future where the entire Setouchi region flourishes as a "mecca for craft beer." As part of our sustainability efforts and regional contribution initiatives, we have recently accepted a trainee who aspires to establish their own brewery.

Background of the Project:

Refining skills and co-creating culture: Our encounter with a man possessing a strong passion to "create new value for the local community" served as the impetus for this special training program. The craft beer industry is deeply rooted in the spirit of a "guild" (symbiosis), where participants refine each other’s skills and co-create culture.

Convinced that supporting his dream would lead to the creation of new local jobs and the development of diverse tourism resources, we decided to fully open our brewing facilities and provide technical guidance.

The charm of Setouchi becomes more multi-layered as the number of like-minded colleagues grows, moving beyond the success of a single brewery. We will continue to support new challengers rooted in the community, striving to realize a sustainable society by driving the dual wheels of "passing on brewing techniques" and "revitalizing the local economy."
