For this beer, we used two types of fruit: intensely tart sour cherries (the kind often used in processed goods like cherry pie) and Tochiotome strawberries, which are known for their soft acidity and wonderful fragrance.
The aroma has notes of cherry blossom (from the cherries), while the flavor adds the distinct character of Tochiotome strawberries. The result is a harmonious finish where the sweet-and-sour fruits balance a beer that is itself both tart and sweet.
The red label and the beer's pink color perfectly match the look of a cherry's skin and pulp.
