This is the seventh beer in our WAVE series, an American Pale Ale named INCLINED PLANE.

To create an exceptionally drinkable beer, we used a smaller amount of crystal malt to keep the sweetness in check. We selected Chinook as the key hop, supported by Simcoe, to achieve a balanced finish with a moderately piney (like pine resin) character and a refreshing citrus aroma, reminiscent of grapefruit.

It's designed to be a beer you won't get tired of drinking, making it easy to pair with meals and perfect for daily enjoyment.

About the Name: An "INCLINED PLANE" is one of the classic "simple machines," a fundamental concept in mechanics used since ancient times. These simple machines are the most basic elements of mechanics, and we often use them in our daily lives without even thinking about it.

Today, the American Pale Ale has become so widespread that it's what most people think of when they hear "Pale Ale."

We felt there was a similarity between the concept of an "inclined plane"—which allows a small force to move a large object to a great height—and the "American Pale Ale," which is the very origin of the current craft beer boom.

We named this beer with respect for both: for the power of a simple idea that changed the world, and for the greatness of how that idea can blend seamlessly, almost unconsciously, into our everyday lives.
