When you think of udon, many people think of Kamatama (a simple and popular Japanese dish of freshly boiled udon noodles mixed with a raw egg and seasoned with dashi soy sauce) In our home prefecture of Kagawa, "Kamatama Butter"—which adds butter to make it even richer—is incredibly popular.

We took that as our inspiration. To enhance the umami (savory taste) of the beer, we added a massive amount of malt—our version of "butter"—to create a thick, luscious, and rich finish. But our "craft beer udon artisan" wasn't satisfied until it had "a punch, too," and this beer is packed with their dedication.

For the "dashi" (soup stock), we threw in a huge amount of Citra hops. As a secret ingredient, we blended in plenty of Citra INCOGNITO to give the "dashi" aroma an extra rich character.

Even with its high ABV, it’s incredibly drinkable and "slurpable." This is a rich, "thick and milky" masterpiece you're guaranteed to get hooked on.
